Singing Lessons Memphis

Hey guys,

Thanks for being one of the hundreds of people each day that visits my Singing Tips Blog site. Hopefully, these tips have helped you as much as they have others on their vocal journey.

Here lately though, I’ve had a handful of people looking to accomplish more specific needs, asking about lessons and whether or not I can help. Truth is, I’d love to be able to help everyone, but there are only so many hours in the day. That’s why I give away all the free advice that I give away online.

However, if you’d like to take your voice to the next level, then you may want to look into private lessons with me. My schedule stays pretty busy, so while I used to do Skype lessons, I try and stick with one-on-one lessons here in my Memphis Studio. My rates are either $85/hour per lesson, or $300/month for an hour a week.

Presently I’m teaching out of my home studio in Cordova, TN, a suburb of Memphis. For more information about my Memphis Singing Lessons, visit my website. You can also reach me via email at vocalcoachkentaylor@gmail.com.

Finally, if you’re not in the Memphis area, I give away TONS of free content on this website and others. To get access to my most recent articles, “Like” my Facebook page.

I look forward to serving you in one way or another in the near future, and as always…

Happy Singing!

Ken, I have had the pleasure of meeting you a couple of years ago at your studio. I work at FedEx, and I remember you telling me you worked there long time ago. I want to learn to sing “His eyes is on the sparrow” I have always wanted to learn that song, would you help me with my vocals? I heard you sing that song and you blew my mind…thanks sherrid_stephens@yahoo.con

    • Right now I do not offer singing lessons via webcam. I have another website, askavocalcoach.com and that might give you some good insight but as for now, the only medians I teach out of are this website and the other. Keep checking back though, this could always change!

I have a quite timid 11 year old boy who speaks SO quietly. Have you ever coached a child to help them use their voice more loudly? Not singing, just speaking??? Or do you know anyone who does? Many thanks!

I have done this for a lesson or two, but honestly, I would imagine that volume is a factor of confidence more than anything. For this, I’d try more so to get him involved in public speaking (maybe a school debate team or a junior Dale Carnegie course). Sounds silly, I know, but if you can convince him that it’s a good idea, he’ll gain TONS of confidence while also naturally wanting/needing to boost the volume of his speaking voice.

I wish you the best of luck with it!!!

What if u don’t have a webcam, but still want pointers? I have heard that I ahve a unique voice, but I need to work on notes. I wanna know how to get up to that high pitch. I have tried, but I can’t reach it. So I would love to get pointers and more.

    Thank you!

I could answer generally, but the problem with that is all singers are different and therefore need to take different paths to accomplish what they’re looking to accomplish. Perhaps you could work with someone closer to you? Regardless, best of luck to ya!

Hey, I’m Tracy. I’m 11years old. Do you know any good websites
that you can Practice your vocals?

What do you need to practice when your sing like Lyrics, record etc???

When it comes to practicing your vocals, you don’t need a website. You can get great tips from this site, AskaVocalCoach.com, and VocalCoachKenTaylor.com/blog.html, but there aren’t really any interactive sites that I know of that help you with specific songs. If you’re interested in learning more about how to practice your songs though, I’d suggest checking out this article – How to Practice Singing.
